“Beyond” depicts the longing for something meaningful in a material world. The knight, fully lavished with shining armor, looks away from the kingdom and all its wealth into the unknown. What this knight is looking at will never be known but what would we see if we were in his position? God? A Light? Strength to help others? Which way would you face? Towards the light or back to the kingdom?
