This painting was completed using the sight-size method from objects I found around my home/property. My initial inspiration was to create a four-part series containing a still life of each season. This is the most accomplished I have felt after completed a painting as I felt I had learned tons from it and grew as a painter. Often times the most growth comes from a disaster of a painting so it is always a nice surprise when experimenting is successful.
